This product provides two advantages to the dentist. The extension allows the dentist to angle the microscope back towards their body more, it also allows them to often sit with a more neutral position. If you have to lean forward a little bit to use your scope, you know you need this device just for the extension. The rotation feature is show in a photo animation in the attached pictures. Normally however, you would be rotating the eyepieces to make them level after you angled the objective of the microscope to the left or right.
